On the 1st and 2nd of May, the Introducing Castellon Product Club carried out two important promotional events for the tourist offer of Castellón on the occasion of the start-up of the new air route between Dusseldorf-Weeze and Castellón, operated by the company Ryanair .The opening of this new air connection, the first with the German market, is considered by the Product Club as an excellent opportunity to try to position the Castellón offer in the first issuing market in Europe, from which Castellón is practically absent.

The first event took place on Monday the 1st and the Product Club participated, together with the Spanish Tourist Office (Turespaña) in the Netherlands, in the Tourism Festival organized by Weeze Airport on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. This festival was aimed at the public, both Dutch and German, who regularly use this airport for their tourist trips and a representation of the destinations with which said airport has an air connection took part. In a playful and festive atmosphere, the different destinations exhibited their tourist attractions to make themselves known among those attending the event, in addition to carrying out various promotional activities.
